Below are the fees for private work completed at Killamarsh Medical Practice.
From 1st May 2026 all private work requested by companies should be pre-paid before any work is completed. At the moment patients will not be required to pre-pay for private work requested.

Medicines Order Line (MOL)

The Medicine Order Line (MOL) is a way for you to order your prescriptions over the telephone or online via an ordering form.

The MOL service is open from 8.00am-4.00pm, Monday–Friday (excluding Bank Holidays).

The MOL is staffed by fully trained Medicine Order Line Operatives (MOLOs) who will go through your medication request and check which items are needed. The medication request is then processed and sent electronically to your GP practice to be signed. The prescription will then be sent on electronically to your chosen pharmacy.

Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS)

NHS Derby and Derbyshire ICB PALS offers help, advice, support and information about the local health service.

As a patient, relative or carer you may not always know where to go for help or information.  It can often be a worrying or confusing time especially when you, or someone you know, is unwell. This is where your PALS team can help.

The service is confidential; the information is used anonymously to identify trends in services, highlight good practice and also to identify where improvements to services are needed.

SAIL

SAIL - Sexual Abuse and Incest Line

SAIL provides free, confidential, specialist trauma informed counselling, for 26 weeks initially, either face-to-face in Chesterfield or remotely by telephone. Counselling is for anyone over 18 residing in Derbyshire affected by sexual abuse, sexual assault or incest at any time.

Providing an individual is wanting to engage with support, referrals can be made either by the person themselves, friends and family members, or healthcare professionals.
